"Moment In Peking" aka MIP will be broadcasting soon on CCTV-1, with a high purchasing price of 3.5 million, the highest p/episode purchase by CCTV so far has triggered alot of attention, as well as Vicki Zhao's leading role as "Yao MuLan."
I [referring to author of this article] don't particularly like Vicki. Back when she become instantly famous in her "Princess Returning Pearl" aka HZGG as Little Swallow, and also her protrayal as a outrageous, spunky girl in HZGG2 did not spurt my liking. Though many of her images in her works have not been what I have liked, but her persistance and strength can only be described as admirable. Many of Vicki Zhao's actions will bring about outsiders slander, but how many in the industry can stick to the end, never surrending through the worst of what Vicki Zhao's has been through? There have been many stars who haven't been able to handle "falling to a pit" and disappear from audience's sight, and many who've even pursued death to escape. But, Vicki Zhao hasn't moved or backed away, the more she stands and fight the more strength she gathers, and has finally seen the rainbow after the thunderstorms. Her two "Best Actress" Awards for her role in "Qing Ren Jie" has given her the title "Film Queen". Many are also expecting her protrayal in "Moment In Peking."
In the last several years, Vicki Zhao is definitely one of China's most controversial celebrities. After Romance in the Rain, Vicki haven't film new drama. Soon CCTV will air Moment in Peking, and Vicki anxiously waiting for response.

I have watched MIP.It's great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I love it!!!!!!!
Much better than 1987 version!!!
But i'm afraid that the drama is not easy to understand by non-chinese fans.
