Synopsis:
This is a Chinese version of a Romeo and Juliet story. Hou Jia and Qu Ran grow up together and become lovers. Their families live in the same compound but they have a mysterious history that no one is willing to reveal or even mention. Feudal hatred is not able to outgrow their sweet feelings towards each other, but family morale stops them from going any further. They decide that only time, and love itself, can dissolve this animosity from the previous generation. So they shall wait, until 12 years have passed by...
