Original version was witten in English.
TV drama's story is different from novel.
Screenplay is written by 4 Chinese famouse writer.

Plot
Moment in Peking have been labeled a modern "Hong Lau Meng". It was penned by Lin YuTang originally, in Enlgish. Vicki will acted as Yao MuLan, eldest daughter of the Yao Family, who is devoted Taoist. The Yao family is one of the prestigious family during the period, and the Yao's sisters are well versed in matter of the world.
Yao Mulan is intelligent, ambitious and strong persona that worthy quality man value. As Yao Mulan's growth up during the Sino-Japanese war, family face various set back. Yao Mulan married into the Zeng's family, to their youngest son, who had a carefree and playful attitude toward life. Mulan married at tender age of 18, look after both the Yao and Zeng family, with 4 children of her own. Mulan's husband love her, but never faithful to her. Moment in Peking is a story of a woman, facing challenge from both side of life-family, and social value.

I think it will release in 2006.Becase the producer said that several asian coutries bought the copy,and one staff of the crews told me there are more foreign TV contact their company. If there is any news,I will report it.

Hi my name is Nini.. so I heard that Moment in peking is going to release in 2006 in Vietnamese. I can't wait. Please also let me know what's the title of the "moment in peking" in Vietnamese so I could go and rent. I really one of Vicki biggest fan. I love all of her movies. Also I there are some of the movies that i want to watch by Vicki but I don't know what's the title in Vietnamese so if u do please let me know. The other movies are:
The Duel
A time to Love
Warrior of Heaven and earth
Jade goddness of mercy
Chinese Odysseay
Penitentiary Angel
Aunt's postmodern life
The longest night in shanghai
That's all. I wanted to watch it but can't find a Vietnamese title to it.
