[glow=red,2,300]The 18th London Lesbian Gay Film Festival [/glow] So Close (Chik Yeung Tin Sai)
For action fans and YSL lesbians, this is a real treat. Sisters Lynn and Sue are Hong Kong contract killers who use a high-tech surveillance system to tap into multinational corporation security systems. But when assassinating a computer mogul they are double-crossed and find themselves battling a bunch of monkey bad guys plus a butch cop (hot on the trail of Lynn's cute white-suited ass), this assignment proves more than tricky. So Close is a glorious excuse for stylised, slo-mo fight scenes involving three high-kicking, sexy broads. Director Yuen plays even the trashiest scenes with wit and style. This film is dripping in lesbian subtext and of course, the butch and femme do get it on at the end. Charlie's Angels, eat this. Selina Robertson
