Chapter 1When Yao Mulan is 9 years old...  10 years later-- Mulan is grown up.She and Yao Mochou go to Zeng's house.They meet Zeng Sunya. Mochou love him,but there is always agruement between Mochou and Sunya.  Mulan goes to see Zeng Pingya.He is ill and sad.Mulan tells a joke.   In a book shop--  Mulan wants to buy a Calligraphy book.A guy wants to buy it at the same time.   They discuss development Chinese Calligraphy.Kong Liyi realize everything.Mulan askes him what's this?Lifu don't know.Mulan tell him it's Jiaguwen(means Inscription on animal bones and tortoise shells).  Mulan leaves the shop.Kong Lifu catches up with her. He askes whether she is Yao Mulan.Yao Mulan is very famous in Beijing.She is good at writting,singing(chinese opera) and chinese medicine.And she is only one girl know Jiaguwen(Inscription on animal bones and tortoise shells) in Beijing.  He introduces himself.  In Zengs' house-- Zeng Pingya will die.Mr & Mrs. Zeng think that a wedding will save him.(It's a Chinese old tradition.It's pop more than 2 thousand years in China.If a man will die,a wedding will save him.I think it's foolish.  )But Zeng Pingya's girlfriend Sun Mani in the south.There is a war broke out.They don't find her.So they think if Mulan become their daugther in law,she is better than Manni.  In Zeng Pingya's room-- Mulan acts her father smoking.(cute!  )Make Pingya laughe. Her father don't let she and her sisiter binds the foot.(In China,when a girl is very young,she have to bind the foot.And make the foot can't grow up.So Chinese women's foots is very small in old China.It's very painful.It's means mercy.Because a small foot even can't hurt a small animal.Yes,it's also a old tradition.)

thanks for the summary..... this sounds like a really heavy drama......
im familiar with the foot binding tradition, ive watched a docu about it once in discovery channel..... and the wedding will save life tradition too..... it is sometimes done here as well.... chinese influence, i guess

Chapter 3Zeng Sunya tells Mulan,Sun Manni have married. (In fact,Mrs Zeng-Guiji told a lie.)  Mulan refuse to marry with Pingya.And she says,Pingya's dream girl is Manni,not her. Mr & Mrs Zeng kneel down. They beg Mulan. Mulan have to agree...  Mulan's father is disappointed.He knows Mr Zeng saved Mulan.She have to repay.

Chapter 4Fortunately,Manni comes back.Mulan is very happy. Manni brings a girl--Anxiang.  When Mulan was 9 years old,she was kidnaqed. In a small and dirty room,she meet a little girl. After Mr Zeng rescued Mulan,she asked them to rescue the little.  Destiny is so inconceivable. The girl's name is Anxiang.She is the same girl.  Mulan's teacher invited her family visit a temple.  They talk about Mulan's "big feet".  She meet teacher's another student.The guy is... Kong Lifu.     To be continued...
