In the 100 years of Chinese movies, this year's CCTV program "Golden Times, Reunion" is particularly special. This time, on June 21, 2005, Zhao Wei, Huang Xiao Ming, Guo Xiao Dong, He Ling, Zhang Heng, Yan Dan Chen, etc. students in the entering class of '96 (China goes by the year u enter school) from Beijing Film Academy were able to sit together on the show. This is the first time they met up since graduation.
Vicki Zhao at the time was similar in many ways, a little careless, very intelligent on important issues, but often pays no attention to details, mischievious and adorable. Vicki's classmates recall that Vicki often had to write "apology" essays for being late. Vicki, being lover of books, when writing these essays often writes them stunningly. A fellow classmate on the show said that really liked to listen to Vicki read aloud her essay. In the first year, the sound of a beeper was heard in the classroom, it turned out to be Vicki's. At the time, the teacher was very upset and scolded her harshly, and told her to write "apology essay" and that next class she would have to read aloud her essay. NExt class Vicki read aloud: "I broke regulation, I'm extremely regretful, I sold my BB gun, no need, I hope everyone can monitor me..." didn't even finish, and the beeper again sounded. The teacher was even more upset, asked who knew the rules and purposely broke it. No one answered, and Vicki finally realized it was her beeper. It turned out that Vicki had 2 beepers, when she had said she sold her beeper, that was her Beijing-bought beeper, the one that sounded was her Shanghai-bought beeper.

23 students of the class, Chen Kun attended an film festival out of the country, and other 2 classmates having transferred to other career fields, only 20 of the students appeared on "Golden Times, Reunion." Having been just named BEST ACTRESS in SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, Vicki is '96 class's first Film/Movie Queen. Didn't even give her speech after she was on stage, Vicki gave it out during the show: "If it wasn't for Professor Chui (she was like a home-room teacher to the students), there would have been no me. She has made/a part of me, I have a part of her."
Honest-looking and quiet Guo Xiao Dong (won best actor in Tokyo Film Festival last year for role in "Warmth") is Vicki's "idol." During Film Academy years, Vicki often wrote "apology" letters and would always mention Guo Xiao Dong's name: "From now on, I will learn harder from classmate Guo Xiao Dong."
Huang Xiao Ming may seem like a lady's man but he is actually a "goodie-2-shoes." When he saw Professor Chui, he immediately called out: "Mother Chui."
Guo Xiao Ming and classmate Li Xia have paired up in two reknown artistic films, "Blue Love" and "Warmth," Guo Xiao Dong laughed and said: "Li Jia and I have played husband and wife from school to after graduation, just that this kind of relationship won't continue to real life."
The show was supposed planned for 3 hour recording, but due to laughter and chatting, got prolonged to 4 1/2 hours. And Professor Chui's appearance brought many to tears.

Classmate Deng Jia Xin said: "Many people think Vicki is not intelligent/sophisticated. Definitely not. I remember Vicki loved to read deep novels, and even when writing apology essays would use great penmanship, to hear her read aloud her essay is a kind of pleasure, many times classmates would tear at her essays." Other classmates joined in. "Vicki is a person who is haphazard/forgetful person. Her most used phrase is: "Ai, who's seen my cellphone?""
Vicki also joined in: "When I was at school, I was very unfocused, everywhere. Always upsetting teachers, having to write apology essays all the time, which all have to be read aloud, and everytime I read, Deng Jia Xin would tear."
Everyone says that of the whole class, Vicki is definitely the most famous and brought good luck to the rest of the class, being the 1st to step out into the industry and all.

Huang Xiaoming,Chen Kun and Zhao Wei called "3 swordsman" in Beijing Film Acadamy.  They are good friend. Huang Xiaoming love Vicki 4 years when they in Beijing Film Acadamy.  Last year,in an interview,Huang said that Zhao Wei is his White Princess in his heart. |

A classmate called Guo Xiaodong--have a perfomance in Vicki's "Raining Sunday" Music Video.
He won the best actor in the 2003 Tokyo International Film Festival.
