19 years ago,Taiwan ITV made the old version,it's very popular.Today,Zhao Wei's Moment in Peking is hot in both mainland and Taiwan.Most of audience said that Zhao Wei is better.
Mainland media report that,more than 80% audience said Zhao Wei is beautiful,and her acting is very good.

hehe, In 2002,there were some news about mainland version MIP will start.A mainland reporter asked Gigi Zhao who can play the most perfect women Yao Mulan?She said Zhao Wei ;D

2005 champion tvdrama "Moment in Peking" re-broadcast in mainland 6 statllite tv & 2 local tv since Nov,1.It's a huge amazing that Moment in Peking ranked 5 on the national ratio billboard which data soucre AGB Nilsen.The others tvseries which in top 5 are all premire.And in some local ranking,Moment i Peking ranked NO.1 again.
The chairman of Sichuan TV said "Only classic tvseries will be popular again when them re-broadcast."
